About the Speaker:

Before becoming a sea kayak guide and outdoor educator, Nathan was a trained chef. He cooked in several fine dining restaurants in Vancouver and Whistler, BC. He also completed a Certificate of Wilderness Leadership in 2015, and has been working in the outdoor industry ever since. Now, he spends most of his time playing in the waves on the West coast of Vancouver Island, but has never lost his passion for creating exceptional meals. He loves being on the water and specializes in leading longer expeditions in remote stretches of the coast.
